    The health of our guests and employees is our top priority for us. In the times of the pandemic, we pay even more attention to a safe and hygienic environment. We are aware of the enormous responsibility towards our guests, employees, and partners.

Hygiene standards and precautions

Together with our partners, neighbors and service providers, we have taken all necessary measures to prevent the virus from spreading. Our protection concept was created under consideration of employees and guests and taking into account the applicable legal situation and the occupational medical protection and precautionary regulations.

All cleaning procedures have been intensified and all employees have been trained in the strict hygiene guidelines. The type of cleaning and disinfection, the cleaning intervals, and the detergents were checked again and optimized according to the situation.

1. important information – before YOUR arrival

All you need to know

To make your journey as easy as possible, we have compiled the current requirements for your stay with us here. (Status: 07.12.2021)

If you have any of the following symptoms, we kindly ask you to refrain from traveling for the protection of our guests and staff:

  • Acute, non-specific general symptoms
  • Fever
  • Loss of smell and taste
  • Respiratory symptoms of any severity

If you have had contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19 disease in the last 14 days, please postpone your stay and visit us at a later time.

Please check the current entry and quarantine regulations via the official federal government website before your arrival. More here.

If you arrive from a risk area, no quarantine is required, if you have a negative COVID-19 test. If you have been in a high incidence or virus variant area before your arrival, special entry and quarantine regulations apply. Please inform yourself before arrival on the Robert Koch Institute website. More here.

A requirement for your stay with us is that you comply with the ‘2G’ rule. This means you have to be either vaccinated or recovered. PCR or corona rapid tests are not allowed anymore.

Please bring a corresponding proof for check-in, if you have already been fully vaccinated for at least 14 days with a vaccine approved in the EU, or if you have proof of antibodies by PCR (min. 28 days/max. 6 months).

In accordance with the current guidelines, we have developed a health check form, which summarizes the previously mentioned points. Upon arrival, you will be asked by our team to fill it out. With this you help us to make your stay as safe as possible. Thank you very much!

With our offer, you can cancel free of charge up to 3 days before arrival and receive up to 25% on your booking.

We are offering our small breakfast buffet for € 8,00 per adult and € 6,00 for kids between 7 and 12 years.

Our outdoor jacuzzi is open for you after booking an appointment at the reception. During your appointment the use of the jacuzzi is exclusive to you, this means you have the whole area to yourself.

Our fitness room is open for you after booking an appointment at the reception. During your appointment the use of the fitness room is exclusive to you, this means you have the whole area to yourself.

5. How are the general areas in the hotel and restaurant cleaned?

Hygiene measures in the hotel and restaurant

Sufficient washing facilities, liquid soap, disposable towels, and hand disinfectants are provided to guests and employees.

All surfaces, e.g. door handles, elevator buttons, and bar stools are disinfected several times a day.

All floors and steps are vacuumed daily and wiped with disinfectant cleaner.

Guest toilets are cleaned regularly. Liquid soap, disposable towels, and hand disinfectants are available.

The use of objects that are used by several guests is reduced to a minimum throughout the company or designed so that cleaning or replacement takes place after each use.

The employees always wear freshly cleaned clothes.

Cooking uniforms are washed industrially.

When washing dishes, attention is paid to the specified water temperature of at least 60° Celsius.

The kitchens are cleaned according to a strict hygiene plan, which was specially created by hygiene experts.

The hotel has a special virus-containing ventilation concept:

  • Public areas are constantly ventilated (every 5-10 minutes).
  • Ventilation systems are cleaned properly and the filters are replaced regularly.

If possible, the direction of movement when entering and leaving rooms is specified. Observed distances in the waiting areas and the entrances are marked accordingly.

6. how is my room cleaned?

Every housekeeping employee wears a face mask that is changed regularly.

Every housekeeping employee wears fresh gloves per room.

The employees always wear freshly cleaned clothes.

The cleaning utensils are changed after each room.

Bed linen and towels are washed with special disinfectant detergent.

All surfaces such as remote controls, light switches, doorknobs, hair dryers, and hangers are disinfected.

Water and toothbrush glasses are cleaned at the specified temperature in the dishwasher.

The room is cleaned with the window open to create ideal air circulation.

7. How should I behave in the hotel?

The top priority is to comply with the 1.5 m distance rule between people in all rooms, in corridors, stairs and outdoors.

Guests are asked to wear a FFP2 face mask. The mask can be removed when sitting at the table or in the room.

We recommend washing your hands regularly. We provide disinfection and hand washing facilities with soap and running water.

Sitting together in the lobby without observing the minimum distance of 1.5 m is only permitted for people where the general contact restrictions do not apply.

In order to determine contact persons in the event of a subsequently identified COVID-19 case among guests or staff, a guest list must be kept with details of names, telephone numbers, and the period of stay. The list is treated in accordance with data protection regulations.

8. What we do to protect our staff

Personal hygiene

Our employees are trained in the correct handling of face masks and hygiene regulations.

The staff wear a face mask in rooms where guests are staying as well as outdoors, as long as the distance of 1.5 m cannot be maintained.

Employees with acute relevant symptoms are not allowed to work.

The hotel checks that employees comply with the operational protection concept and takes appropriate measures in the event of violations.

Hand disinfection is available throughout the hotel.
